Here are a few that frequently come up. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, be sure to drop us a line.
What makes your popcorn taste so good?
Our popcorn dries naturally on the cob. It is not force dried or commercially processed. We harvest our popcorn on the ear. This gives the popcorn a light and fresh natural corn taste.
The varieties of popcorn we plant are non GMO. Like a fine wine, each of the varieties we grow may have slight variations in their flavor and texture every year. These are natural variations which can be attributed to that season’s growing conditions and the weather during harvest.
Our popcorn contains no chemical additives or preservatives. Popcorn is a fiber rich whole grain snack. It is naturally low in fat and calories. It contains no sugar or sodium.

What popper should I use for your corn?
Homegrown popcorn can be made and seasoned in a variety of ways. Hot air poppers, stovetop poppers, microwave poppers or oil poppers can all be used to make fresh, tasty popcorn the way you like it.
Oil methods make crisper, crunchier popcorn, whereas hot air poppers pop lighter, fluffy popped flakes.
Tasty seasonings: butter, salt, sugar, caramel, cheddar cheese, Blue Heaven blue cheese powder, ranch, tabasco, taco, BBQ and savory blends.
Remember: Always store popcorn in an air tight glass or plastic container with a tight fitting lid.
I don’t have a popper. Can I still use your corn?
You sure can! Check out our Classic Stovetop Popcorn Recipe!
Do the different colored kernels pop colored popcorn?
All popcorn kernels pop in varying shades of white and yellow. White varieties have lighter, crispier textures with smaller popped flakes. Yellow varieties are heartier textured, large popped flakes. Every color has subtle taste and texture differences that you usually do not find in the commercially produced varieties.
Is popcorn a healthy snack?
